Taking the decision to become a surrogate mum

Surrogacy is a wonderful journey for most of the women who have generous heart and strong intention to help the childless couples. However, women need to know various factors before taking a decision to become a surrogate mother. Although internet provides you much valuable information about surrogate mother, I strongly recommend consulting a lawyer who has in-depth knowledge in surrogacy laws. You can also find the best surrogate agencies in the United States of America who can help along the way.

Once you decide to become a substitute, you’ll need to consider what type of proxy you are going to be. There are two types of surrogacy; gestational and traditional. If you choose traditional surrogacy, you need to use your own eggs to become pregnant and the baby born through this process is harmonically relevant to you and the intended father. In gestational surrogacy, you will not use your eggs. Instead the intended mother’s egg is fertilized with the intended father’s sperm and the resulting zygote is injected to your uterus in order to achieve pregnancy. The baby born through this process is genetically irrelevant to you, only you carry the baby for nine months.

However, if you choose gestational surrogacy, you should be ready to visit physicians regularly. Once you have decided which type of surrogacy is good for you, it is the time to search for trustworthy couples. The reason to mention “trustworthy” couples is some childless couples look for private surrogacy only to save costs, directly it means they are not ready to spend more money for this process. However, if ladies register in the agencies and work under them, they can expect good compensation and total security.

Now it is up to you to decide the type of surrogacy and whether work or not to work under an agency.
