Surrogacy – godsend gift for infertile women
Infertility may be described as
the incompetence to reproduce; in simple terms it can be defined as the
inability to produce offspring. In women, this state may is mentioned as unable
to conceive or to carry pregnancy for the whole term. Generally, the
procreative age for women is between 15 and 40 years of age. Demographically,
ladies can be considered infertile if they engage in regular unprotected
intercourse for more than 2 years. If a woman is unable to conceive, it is
deliberated as primary infertility and if she is suffering from regular
miscarriages, it is deliberated as secondary infertility.
Ovulatory disorders are of the
most common reason for women sterility. Female aridity is classified as hormonal
problems, scarred ovaries, premature menopause and follicle problems. However,
most of the problems are treated successfully, but if still women are suffering
from aridity, they can opt for a surrogacy.
It is a process where a third party woman gives birth to the child that
is genetically relevant to the intended parents.
Agencies proficiently work on the
requirements of the biological parents. They work with numerous surrogate mothers in USA. Normally,
gestational or traditional surrogacy is adopted according to the requirements
of biological parents. In traditional proxy, sperm of biological father is
injected to the uterus of substitute. A proxy uses her own eggs to fertilize it
and then carries baby for nine months. The baby born by this process is genetically
connected with intended father and surrogate. However, the use this process is
very low when compared with gestational surrogacy due to legal issues associated with it.
